Supreme Court nominee Judge Samuel Alito has proven his ability as an outstanding jurist who will interpret the law fairly.

He has been endorsed by Democrats and Republicans and unanimously received a "well qualified" rating from the American Bar Association.

Because of this, Judge Alito is heading toward confirmation to the Supreme Court.

"But ultra-liberal groups and some of their allies in the Senate are pushing to defeat the nomination of Judge Alito.

Their agenda is clear:

"These groups want to redefine marriage. They support partial birth abortion and have fought to take God out of from the Pledge of Allegiance.

"Now, they are trying to pressure our Senator, Mary Landrieu, into voting against Judge Alito.

"Please call Senator Landrieu at 504-589-2427. Ask her to support Judge Alito. Ask her to ignore the extreme, partisan attacks.

"Judge Alito will use common sense and apply the law fairly. He is the kind of judge America needs on the Supreme Court."
